Riverblend has been entertaining audiences with their rich blend of barbershop harmony since their beginning in February of 2005. Every year since, they have been one of the top-rated quartets in the Johnny Appleseed District of the Barbershop Harmony Society, consistently qualifying to represent their district at the annual International Seniors Quartet contest. In 2010, Riverblend was ranked 4th among all seniors quartets selected to compete in the 2011 International contest. Riverblend has performed in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Florida, New Mexico, Nevada and California. In 2006, they completed a 20-performance vacation tour of the United Kingdom. In 2007, with their original lead and baritone Chuck Watson and John Byerly, they released their first CD of Don Gray arrangements – Shades of Gray. Riverblend is a chapter quartet of Cincinnati’s international champion Southern Gateway Chorus.
